BIOGRAPHY

After graduating in Law at the University of Florence, Michele Lai trained professionally at the Lessona law firm in Florence. He has been a member of the Florence Bar Association since 1995 and has been qualified to practise before the Supreme Court of Cassation and Superior Jurisdictions since 2011.


In 1997, he opened the firm of which he is currently the owner and in 2000 he also began practising at the Court of Parma, setting up a branch of his firm there.

He has acquired extensive experience providing legal assistance to performing artists and performers thanks also to his degree in principal piano at the State Conservatory of Music Luigi Cherubini in Florence and thanks to frequent collaborations with theatres and associations in the sector.

Capable of responding in a comprehensive, skilled and appropriate way to every legal issue, be it an individual or a company, the firm places particular importance on customer service during advocacy. The spirit of service towards the client and the absolute centrality of the client's interests and confidentiality are combined with optimal planning and organisation that always allows for quick and timely resolutions, even in the face of particularly complex cases.
Lai has also qualified in Real Estate Law through the close collaboration established with the UPPI Association for which he is legal advisor for the Florence office and of which he is President for the Parma office.

He is a civil and administrative lawyer in the fields of Urban Planning and Pharmaceutical Law.

He lectures (Entertainment Organisation and Law and Copyright Law) at University Institutions, Artistic Academies and Theatres in Italy and abroad.

Michele Lai is fluent in English and practises using it.
